About Jude
With over 10 years experience teaching: I still love results day - that reward for the student's hard work and efforts. To see my students progress in education, to really watch them thrive, to see them go forward with a newfound sense of confidence in their ability - this is why I tutor.
I studied both English Literature and English Language at GCSE Level: attaining a Level 9 and Level 8 respectively. Currently, I use my writing skills to publish Medical articles and write essays at Medical School.

My lessons are specifically tailored to the student's needs: focusing on the areas of English they struggle with. I like to teach adaptably: some students learn visually whilst others learn more effectively through examples. For every student, I ensure to understand these differences: allowing them to thrive during my classes - growing in confidence, improving their English skills at a fast pace and enjoying the process.
In English Literature, Shakespeare can be difficult to understand: formulate Lines of Argument from, and write a well-structured essay for. These are all things I am able to simplify - not simply providing my students with things to regurgitate: but rather helping them understand how to effectively achieve this for themselves, so that they are ready to tackle any question when exam day arrives!
Additionally, with English Language the exam can be heavily time pressured - how do you manage your time in such an exam? This is something I am able to help my students rectify, helping them allot timeframes to each question in the paper to ensure they are able to attain as many marks as possible: whilst maintaining that good essay structure to ensure the writing is still of high quality. For English Language, my experience preparing for GCSE provides me with insight into what examiners look for when marking each individual question type: allowing me to pass this onto my students so they secure the top marks!

I've been working with Jude for a few weeks and because of Jude's help I have become less stressed with maths and my confidence increased greatly, if you have a learning difficulties (like ADHD or dyslexia like I do), Jude is an amazing tutor who can build lessons to the needs of his students.
Jude is friendly, understanding and effective, if you don't understand something he'll be non judgemental and show you how he'd do so or the other ways it can be done and ask how you'd like to do it and work it out step by step with you, if you are looking tutor, Jude is one of the best.
