About Angel
I am a dedicated classical trombonist currently pursuing my degree in Trombone Performance at California State University, Northridge. Having performed as a principal/first-chair trombonist with premier youth ensembles including Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA), I have had the privilege of touring internationally and performing in high-level symphonic and chamber settings.
Through masterclasses with world-class orchestral musicians and extensive audition experience, I have developed a clear, healthy, and systematic approach to brass playing. As an instructor, my goal is to foster a patient, encouraging environment where students not only build solid technical habits and a beautiful sound, but also cultivate a genuine love for music-making. Whether you are aiming for first chair in school band, preparing for an upcoming audition, or exploring the instrument for fun, I am excited to help guide your journey!
