Techniques used: "Sense memory" (Strasberg), "Repetition"(Meisner), “ Scene breakdown "(Stella Adler).
In fact, alongside the technical work in which the fundamental exercises of the American Method (Relaxation, Sense Memory, Repetition, emotional preparation) will be deepened, there will be a work on the scenes in which the students can concretely apply the exercises they have practiced.
We will work on the scenes in three distinct and gradual steps: Reading (Cold reading), improvisation and final passage with the text.

I've known Sara Corso for 15 years now and I consider her one of the most talented professionals in Europe, both as an actress and as an acting coach.
I have been entrusting Sara with intensive workshops of Method Acting and Meisner Technique at my drama school in Brescia with complete confidence; there are not many people in Italy able to transmit the Method and Meisner Technique in its authenticity.
As a life member of the Actors Studio, I have the duty to look carefully at those who teach this methodology in my school and Sara has always exceeded my expectations: she is a tireless worker, with an extraordinary sensitivity and a unique intuition, constant training herself on the field and in classes.
The students have always been enthusiastic and have grown surprisingly demonstrating the validity of her teaching. We have worked successfully together in Paris, London and Los Angeles, and I've always loved the international vision that Sara brings to the work.
Having Sara studied with Jack Waltzer since 2012 (who personally studied with Sandy Meisner) gives a school the opportunity of having the Meisner Technique basically directly from the source. "
"We met Sara Corso eight years ago, during a workshop commissioned by our school in Brescia “Racconti di scena ” and we’ve been collaborating ever since!
Sara is a charismatic and attentive actress; as a teacher she is engaging and well-versed in Method Acting techniques. Sara transmits the craft of acting with humility, sensitivity and tenacity.
Each year we look forward to seeing how she cultivates the talent of both the students and actors in our theatre company, myself included.
I whole-heartedly believe that for anyone wanting to act this specific educational journey, masterfully conducted by Sara Corso, is both an unexpected and indelible exploration of oneself, as well as great way to consolidate your acting awareness.
Sara’s workshops represent a unique opportunity for our school’s students in learning to live “in the moment” on stage, find the emotional truth of the scene, and draw from past emotional experiences while remaining responsive to your scene partner.
We therefore recommend to anyone who aspires to the craft of acting that they make time to work with this wonderful and passionate actress.
Co founder of the Company and school "Racconti di Scena "
"Sara Corso held two workshops in 2017 and 2018 combining the techniques of Strasberg and Meisner.
These seminars were conducted with great satisfaction of the students, so that thanks to the great success, the experience of the workshop will be repeated in 2019.
Her work was part of a project that I coordinated at the school "I Teatri Possibili" of Milan.
The project was structured in several workshops on different acting methods and Sara Corso, as I wrote, was the teacher of the American Method.
(teacher at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts" Silvio D ‘Amico" of Rome and at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts " I Filodrammatici “ of Milan and founder of the Company “Teatro Utile”)

I have known Sara for a few years now, and always knew her as a talented actress and a true professional. It wasn't until November 2018 however, that I got to know her as a leading coach in the Acting Method technique. I had a few one-to-one sessions with her and I found it incredibly useful. Sara made me feel utterly safe, listened to and valued. Her level of empathy, professional experience and her sensitive presence within the rehearsing room are so powerful that I very easily trusted her from the start. Her ability to pass skills and techniques during exercises and processes of "inhabiting another character's body through your own feelings" was such that I almost made no effort in pulling out the creative material from within myself.
She is very generous, humanly and professionally. I vividly recommend her as a coach for any kind of acting work. Weather that be workshops, auditions, character work, before or during a rehearsing process, both in film or theatre.
Thank you Sara, looking forward to working with you next!
I’ve known Sara from many years. I worked with her and studied under her direction. Sara is a wonderful actress and a great teacher. I would recommend her to all those who do not just want to learn how to act, but would try to discover the profession of the actor, in every single part of it.
She is very passionate and competent, she can guess what the student actor needs and through her experience acquired over years of study she is maieutic
