About Mamou
Hello, my name is Mamou and I’m a medical student based in London with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed. I completed my GCSEs at Ark Greenwich Free School, achieving grades 9–7 in 11 subjects. I went on to study at Brampton Manor Academy, where I took AS Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Economics, earning an A in all four. In my A-Levels, I achieved an A* in each of Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. Tutoring is something I enjoy because it allows me to support students in reaching their academic goals while also helping them explore a broader range of career options. I strive to create lessons that are engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style. Typically, I begin with teaching core subject content before applying it through exam-style questions - an approach that has worked well for me and my students. I’m also flexible and happy to adapt, whether that means incorporating visual aids or adjusting the pace. I also plan to incorporate relevant end of topic assessments to get a better understanding of which skills and topic areas which require further refining.

I tutor GCSE, AS and A Level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, specialising in Edexcel Maths and AQA Biology and Chemistry. Over the past year, I’ve worked with a wide range of students - supporting those aiming for top grades as well as those working to build confidence in their understanding. My experience includes both one-to-one and small-group tutoring, in person and online, which has allowed me to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs and personalities.
