About Poppy
I am a Classics graduate from Durham University. I love to write poetry and music in my spare time, and go for coffees and walks with friends! I am going into the charity sector full time and would love to tutor more in my spare time.

My lessons are 45 minutes in length but endless in excitement and encouragement! I am an upbeat student looking to help with any grammar or vocab doubts and replace them not only with good knowledge but also interest for the subject. Each session I will go through different topics with the student with reference to the John Taylor textbooks (either GCSE or A Level Standard) and we will spend the first part of the lessons with a quick vocab quiz (this doesn't have to be stressful don't worry!), then some grammar, and then application of this grammer in translation (of course questions are very much open to being asked throughout the session). I am also very happy to base the session on what the student has been grappling with rather than simply working through the grammar chronologically.
