About Joly
I have studied philosophy at both undergraduate and postgraduate level (Oxford and LSE, respectively). I hold first-class degrees from both, graduating with the highest score in my year from my Master's program at LSE.
I specialise in moral philosophy, applied ethics (including AI ethics), and the applications of philosophy in public policy. I approach these questions from an analytical perspective, and have a background in formal logic.

I'm a firm believer in making philosophy accessible to learners from all backgrounds – it is such a rich subject, and it carries so much relevance to questions in the real world.
My main aim is to train you to think philosophically, and for you to have fun while doing so. There is no cramming or rote-learning to be done here; if anything is left unclear or misunderstood, it's my job to fix it!
