My teaching approach is a kind and thorough one. I feel that in order to get the most out of my students, they need to feel comfortable and engaged with the topic. I pride myself on creating a safe, judgement free space to enable creativity. I tailor my sessions to each individual student to ensure they get the most out of our sessions. My lessons are detailed and consistent and I always check in with my students to ensure they are following and understanding.

I firmly believe that a foundation in Performing Arts gives children the grounding and confidence to achieve success in all walks of life.
I am a Third Year Actor currently training in Manchester and prior to that, undertook my Foundation degree at RADA in London. I also have a diploma in Musical Theatre. After attending Stagecoach (Weekend Theatre School) for 10 years as a child, I have gone on to teach the three disciplines (to children of all ages between 4 and 18) in various Stagecoach franchises since 2017. I have taught performing arts workshops in a primary school setting and also tutored 4 children through their LAMDA examinations (who all achieved Merit or Distinction!) I have experience as a Teaching Assistant working in the Special Educational Needs department at my local primary school and have coached young adults (in a workshop setting) in preparation for their drama school auditions.
I also used to do princess parties (as Belle, Anna and Ariel) for young children emulating their favourite characters. I love working within the performing arts sector and am a passionate teacher who aims to impart wisdom and instill confidence in her students!
Proof of Enhanced DBS Certificate available upon request.
I offer 1 to 1, group sessions and LAMDA exam preparation.
Perfect! My daughter was thrilled with the lesson, so we have booked more. Thank you, Beth.
Excellent sight reading, good intuition, confident and focused.
Improvements to work towards: Making bold decisions, leaning toward character, development of theatrical terminology, responding to direction, detail etc.
A lovely little girl who shows a lot of promise!
Beth is an excellent tutor. I cannot commend her highly enough. She is an incredibly talented performer, who maintains a high level of professionalism throughout, whilst also demonstrating an approachability, warmth and personable nature which makes her extremely popular with children and young people of all ages and abilities. She is reliable, well-organised and punctual and has been an absolute pleasure to observe in her classes! I have recommended her as a tutor to family and friends and would encourage anyone who is seeking a high quality and inspiring tutor to enquire. Thank you for everything Beth!
I have worked with Beth in a AMDRAM performance of The rise and fall of Little voice by Jim Cartwright were Beth played the lead role of Little Voice. Throughout the entire performance and rehearsal stages, Beths talent shone through, I can safely say that I have never met anyone so invested and so in love with the art. Since then I have seen that she has done many successful princess parties through social media and now teaches children on a Saturday as part of a performance art school called stagecoach. She is a brilliant performer and an amazing person, she is a perfect choice for a tutor.
I have known Beth since she was 7 years old, as I worked in the primary school that she attended, so I observed her growing up. She was a model pupil. She also attended drama classes and in her teens, looked after my daughter (10 years younger) at the classes and we would travel there together. She was always reliable and trustworthy. I later employed her as Performing Arts Tutor at my Ofsted registered out-of-school childcare provision. She would hold workshops for children aged 5 to 14. She was very professional in the way she ran the workshops but also fun and imaginative. The workshops were very popular and helped the children develop confidence and acting and singing know-how. The group sizes could range from 5 to 30 children. I also later employed her as a playworker. Beth has always worked well with children and teens. She has never let me down as an employee and brought her warmth, skills and smiles to lots of children's lives. She proved herself to me as a great tutor and my customers and their children would agree.
I trained with Beth in Acting at RADA so have a lot of experience in seeing how she works with other people. Beth is a very trustworthy and welcoming person and will make any of her students feel right at home. She is highly skilled in what she does and always works to a high standard. She's one of the most understanding people I know and any student would be lucky to have her as a teacher.
