About Joel
I am a dedicated Sixth Form leaver from Alcester Grammar School with over three years of teaching experience and many happy students. I achieved A*A*A at A-level in Chemistry, Maths and Music, and I also hold an RAF Method of Instruction teaching qualification.
I believe that students learn best when lessons are engaging, enjoyable and tailored to their individual needs. I therefore aim to make my lessons fun and interactive, while maintaining a professional and focused environment. After all, learning is much easier when you’re not bored out of your mind!
My teaching style combines structure with flexibility. I carefully plan lessons while adapting my approach to suit each student’s strengths, weaknesses and learning style. Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, or building their confidence, I aim to create a supportive environment where they can make real, tangible progress.
I am also fully DBS certified, providing parents and students with additional reassurance that lessons are conducted safely and professionally. My goal is not simply to help students achieve better grades, but to help them become more confident and independent learners.
