About Jamie
I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Oxford (New College). I have experience working with aspiring Oxford applicants on improving their applications at my sixth form. I'm moving into tutoring biology as well. Most my experience is with the AQA board, however I am willing to teach the material from all exam boards.

I understand the importance of achieving the highest grade possible and therefore my tutoring revolves around teaching the syllabus required for the exam. In their first lesson, I ask my students to reveal to me their perceived weaknesses in the syllabus, using a combination of text book, paper and other techniques I will go over this topic with them. Once I believe the student is ready I progress to using past papers with them over the following lessons. Past papers are an excellent way to revise your knowledge and are also excellent tools for learning and practicing the skills required to pass an exam. I will thoroughly go through each answer with my pupils making sure they not only remember the correct answers, but understand them. I will also cover any areas within or outside the syllabus that my students wish to understand further.
