About Batool
I'm Batool. I study Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol. I achieved AAA(A* inorganic chemistry) in my a levels, in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. I achieved 9s (A**) in my maths, physics, and chemistry GCSEs. I’m very passionate about helping my students achieve A/A* grades. I believe everyone has the potential to reach these top grades with the right learning techniques. I am very patient and understanding when a student is struggling. My approach to explaining is always calm and encouraging.

To fit the needs of each student, I can modify my teaching approach. Drawing frequent analogies and diagrams. I apply active recall and spaced repetition in the classroom to concisely teach theory. Overall, I make sure that the lessons are engaging for the students and connect the theory to practical applications. Given that I think learning encompasses more than just getting an A.

Perfect! My daughter was tutored by Batool and she said she is the best maths teacher she has ever had. They worked through questions that she got wrong on her end of year exam and my daughter understood everything that she explained, making all the questions sound easy. My daughter has had several maths tutors since year 6 - year 10, and Batool has been the best. Couldn’t recommend her any more!!

Perfect! She's really good at explaining topics, she uses diagrams as it makes things easier to understand, she writes down steps to achieve the answer and always does an example before letting me have a go.
