I believe every student has a different approach to studying and understanding new concepts. As a tutor, it is my responsibility to figure those out and adapt my teaching style to the student. I hence tend to gauge the student's background knowledge. For example, when going through a mock exam or a past paper with a student, I first ask which questions they need help with.
-I teach lessons to GCSE and A-level students. -Topic explanations and conceptual understanding aim to first be met in lessons through visualization diagrams followed by examples of their applications in real life and finishing off with some example past paper questions. -I rely on making sure students gain a deep understanding of concepts rather than regurgitating notes and equations.

My method is learning fast and exercise enough. Every student is different so if you want to improve your level you have to practice as well. My lessons are based on a previous review about the theme that you need to study. In this case I usually asked some exercise to check also the method that you have already studied at school with your ordinary teacher.
