-I teach lessons to GCSE and A-level students. -Topic explanations and conceptual understanding aim to first be met in lessons through visualization diagrams followed by examples of their applications in real life and finishing off with some example past paper questions. -I rely on making sure students gain a deep understanding of concepts rather than regurgitating notes and equations.
I offer lessons to A-level standard students and below, focusing on Maths, Further Maths and Physics. My teaching methods involve setting students a challenging question and working through it with them, allowing them to develop the problem-solving skills required in higher education.
My teaching methods are mostly student lead (by that i mean focusing on their needs). I like to break down complicated things in to their simplest form and explaining them in a way that make sense for everyone and differentiated to cater for everyone.
I like to adapt my way of working to how you enjoy learning! That is the best way to get results. As such, we can look at text books, past papers, we can work visually or use helpful reminders to learn new things. There is no one way to work.
My method is learning fast and exercise enough. Every student is different so if you want to improve your level you have to practice as well. My lessons are based on a previous review about the theme that you need to study. In this case I usually asked some exercise to check also the method that you have already studied at school with your ordinary teacher.
Each topic is approached differently and adjusted to your specific needs. In general, I start by introducing the subject in an attempt to depict its utility. Afterward follows a review of the theory step-by-step with logic coherence - here is where most of the questions will come up. Continuing, I proceed with getting our hands on some exercises.
I prefer to tutor one to one and I am able to take pupils who are either taking GCSE's or A-levels as well as in early secondary school. My best way of teaching is to see how the pupils will respond to maths puzzles and questions as well as me teaching them the topic at the level of detail required.
I believe that education should be an enjoyable experience which enables you to reach your potential. I use a variety of interesting real-world examples to explain topics and bring lessons back to planet Earth. Whether you are just starting secondary school, cramming GCSEs or studying A-levels, my lessons will be tailored to suit your specific needs and learning styles.
My teaching methodology will be primarily homework based, so explaining the method to solving a problem and making sure the student understands the subject matter before heading back to school the next day.
I give lessons to primary aged children. My lesson structure is usually includes a warm up- where I go through something the child is confident with so that they feel good about the impending lesson, then introduce the topic/something they have previously struggled with, then get them to do it practically/talk it through , then they get on with the task.
My teaching style is friendly and interactive. My aim is to consolidate a strong foundation of knowledge and build the self-esteem of the students. I will adapt the structure of my teaching to fit the learning style of the student.
I give lessons up to GCSE level and I am able to help with homework and answer questions. I am very patient and will do my best to understand what the student already knows and explain things in the clearest way.

I am a second year economics student at the University of Bristol. My degree heavily involves maths and I thoroughly enjoy the subject . I am capable of tutoring all levels of ability, up to and including A level students. My methods of teaching would be mainly going through lots of examples, as I believe this is the best way to get a firm grasp of the subject and do well in the exam.

I'm a first year Economics and Finance student from Warrington currently studying at the University of Bristol. I am looking to give lessons to students studying for their Maths GCSE. When I was revising for this exam I found the best way to revise was by doing lots and lots of past papers, marking my answers and then revising the topics that I didn't do as well in.
I use a mixture of modern and traditional methods to every exciting lesson and set positive and attainable goals as stepping stones to success and increased confidence. A guided and creative approach is also necessary, using a variety of tools, to lead to success.
I teach ages 15 and above. I am very patient and like to prepare lessons before meeting so we can be more productive. I am a fan of using teaching aids in different ways, usually in the form of computer programs or figures to help grasping or reminding of concepts.
I can go over class work with students, or teach them new topics. I find that practice and determination are the keys to successful learning, so I would provide ‘homework’ as well as face to face learning. I believe that role models help to encourage a healthy work ethic so I strive to show the benefits of such work and why it is important to learn.
During my undergraduate degree, I tutored maths to a very shy student who is now flourishing, predicted an A in GCSE. I also ran study groups with other students who were struggling with the course, this grew my confidence in teaching difficult material.
My teaching method is student based. First I would gauge the level the student is currently working at, as well as identify how they like to learn. Some students can just learn and understand step by step approaches, whereas others may need to understand why, and may need visual or active approaches to help them understand.
My teaching method is theory and practice. I first teach the students they theory and give examples, and then challenge them with questions. Each question has a level of difficulty. Also, visual understanding is helpful, particularly in Maths - dealing with shapes, arrows and quick exam tricks.
I aim to develop a greater understanding of each topic so that the pupil can start thinking about problems the right way. I will start by seeing what areas the student struggles with and where i can help the most, that may be exam prep or a refreshing look at old work.
I always provide a fact sheet which will summarise key points and rules included in what I will about to teach that session for the student to keep and go overboard in their own time. I will then explain what we will be doing during the lesson briefly, then teach the material and follow it up with questions as we go along. I also set a few questions for homework to consolidate the learning.
my teaching method depends on the person I'm teaching, as some people prefer learning in an abstract way with number, formulas and rules whereas others find it easier to put it into a real word situation.
I don't like to just teach students content, instead I focus on helping them understanding the information and learn how to apply it effectively to questions. I believe every person is different and their learning styles are just as unique, so I will tailor my tutoring to suit you.
I teach by example and clarification. I follow a method which is going to give you the most possible marks. I am patience and understanding, I work at the pace most suitable for you, at the time you want, how you want.
I believe that each student learns differently and I adapt to each students learning needs in order to tutor them in the most beneficial and efficient way. I will first get to know all the weaknesses and problems that my student faces and then form a structured learning method to help overcome their difficulties step by step.
When I give lessons to students, I often start with their interests, and focus on the individual, creating magical experiences and encouraging them to face challenges. Teaching has shown me that every student is different, and that resilience as an educator is necessary to determine how best to help them improve and change their opinions about my subject.
I am a 19 year old girl who is very passionate about the things I do. People tell me I'm enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming towards others which I pride in.
