About Bruce
With over 35 years teaching experience, I have retired from that rewarding career. I am anxious to start the next chapter of my life and your position seems uniquely suited to my skill sets. I have taught English, Speech and Theater at every level. I have enjoyed watching youngsters and adults grow from the benefit of my knowledge and expertise. I can proudly say that I have had students accepted to prestigious colleges, performing throughout the United States and directing on Broadway. My Speech and Debate coaching has produced some of the finest attorneys in the country. I have always tried to mentor, guide and advise students about their career goals and how best to meet them.
Most of my 35year career has been spent making a difference in young adults’ lives and I hope I will have that opportunity once again working for you in a similar capacity. My strengths are in English, Speech, Writing, Theater & ESL. I look forward to the chance to chat with you in person.
I am TESOL certified and have been tutoring ESL, Writing & Public Speaking for the past two years. My teaching certificate expired in 2017, a year after my retirement. Most recently, I was an Adjunct Professor for ESL Level 5 & 6 at Jose Marie Vargas University and Intermediate level at LAL Summer Student Program in Ft. Lauderdale. I was also an Artist in Residence for VSA in Dade County I have published my first two children’s books. Feel free to check it out at Amazon. I am available to start anytime. I am passiomate anout the study of plot and characters. Spmetimes we will discuss rhemes and conflict and other times. we will roleplay yje patys. I like hving fun, challenging you to think and keeping you on your toes. It will be a fun journey!
