About Rylee
My name is Rylee Francis and I am a 15-year-old high school student in Perth, Australia. I began my basketball journey a few years back and have since fallen in love with the game.
I want to share my love, passion and knowledge with younger people so I can inspire them to not only become better players on the court, but better people off the court with a desire to learn and develop.
I believe in making my players achieve the best of their abilities to make it to the highest level, and since I am still very young, I am able to relate and connect with younger players easier compared to older trainers and tutors, who they might be used to.
I am able to form new relationships with ease and I enjoy meeting new people who are enthusiastic to learn something new everyday like myself.
I promise to have a complete impact during the time I am able to spend with you.

70% practical, 30% theoretical learning from 45 minutes to one hour sessions. Teaching method involves telling, showcasing and reasoning behind skills, strategies and game intelligence/IQ. Lessons are suitable for all genders from year 6s-year 8s who are somewhat developed. Can teach multiple students at once. Option to choose practical, theory or both. I have experience as a domestic-level coach in U14.
Practical work involves:
- skill development/improvement
- fitness/Endurance/Stamina
- reading the path of the ball
- mechanics
- defense
- work rate/ethics.
Theory work includes:
- basic film study (college/pro leagues)
- learning to be a team player/leadership
- sportsmanship
- winning mentality/mindset
- terminology/game intelligence/IQ
- team facilitation
- team plays/sets/strategies.
