About Meralle
I am a fourth year student at UBC, specializing in a combined major in Chemical Biology. As an IB student in high school, I received first year credit for English, History, Biology and Chemistry. I have tutored high school students in mostly Biology and Chemistry for four years now.
Some more about me: I have research experience in polymer chemistry and worked in the research and department sector of the carbon capure industry.

At the moment, I only teach high school students from grades 9 - 12. I will first go over what is being learned in class and answer any queries the student has about the topic. Then we will go over the subject matter in detail and at a pace suiting the student. I really believe that having a strong understanding of the basics can only help with more complex topics, so I like to take some time to ensure that each student fully understands the foundations before gradually moving on to more difficult topics.
I don’t have a set style of teaching; I customise the lessons based on the goals of the individual and their preferred learning methods.
My rates can be negotiated.
