About Bethany
I am Bethany, a 27 year old PhD student in Palaeobiology between UCL and the Natural History Museum, and I have been tutoring people since I was 18. I have particular strengths in Geology, Biology and Geography up to undergraduate and master's level, interests in English Literature up to A-Level, but have experience in teaching all school subjects up to GCSEs. I look forward to learning more about you and how I can help you in whatever journey you are on!

I currently privately tutor all school subjects for a family with a 13 and 15 year old, and have previously worked for a tutoring company teaching English and Maths to children aged 4-18. I also currently teach Earth Sciences at undergraduate and master's level (typically aged 18-25) at UCL. My lessons are usually 1-2 hours, depending on the tutee's needs. I recognise the importance of treating each tutee as an individual, so my teaching does not have a 'one fits all' approach - I like to get to know how best the student studies, and adapt my plans to them.
