About Maria
I am currently studying Mathematics and Physics at University College London. Spanish is my mother tongue, so I don't have any problems in teaching the language. Of course, apart from being born in Spain, I studied Spanish at school in order to improve my vocabulary, reading and writing and ended up with top grades. I also have experience with children, as I've been in several volunteering camps for 3 consecutive summers, consisting of teaching them my language, entertaining and taking care of them.

I want students to learn Spanish because they actually enjoy it and not just because they have to. I will try to make them enjoy the subject, as Spanish is not only studying the language by hard, but it requires understanding, learning the culture, reading good books and converse with wonderful people around the world. So let's say I give more value to practice than to theory (although is vital for the learning process)
