About Keith
Here's a little bit about me: I'm a 20-year-old anthropology student attending UCLA as a third-year transfer. I transferred from Santa Monica Community College with a 4.0 and high honors, and am currently in the Lemelson Anthropological Honors Program at UCLA; one of the best undergrad research programs available for anthropology majors in the U.S. I was previously a tutor at Santa Monica College for a semester, where I worked with an English class as their built-in tutor and helped with their essays.

Hey there! My name is Keith, I'm hoping to working with you soon. :)
I'm a third-year transfer to UCLA and am currently in one of the top undergrad research programs for anthropology in the United States; the Lemelson Anthropological Honors Program. As someone who not only went through the college application cycle once but TWICE, I know what schools are looking for in a student and I'm here to help you get accepted into some of the top universities. If you choose to include me in your exciting college application journey, you will get:

While all that is great, what sets me apart from other tutors here on Superprof?
Well first of all, while tutors with degrees in English or previous college board advisors are fantastic options, I have an inside perspective of a current student attending the #1 Public university in the United States. On top of that, I was also accepted into schools such as UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara, two MORE top schools in the United States. I understand the expectations and desires of colleges in this new generation of academia, which is something you might not be able to get from a tutor who was in school 10+ years ago.
Who are my lessons for? That's a great question! My lessons are for:
-High school students currently taking AP Literature and need assistance with their essays
-High school students that are beginning their college application journey and need support
-High school students that are interested in the humanities and want to strengthen their application to appeal to colleges
-High school students interested in STEM who struggle with writing essays/their PIQs for their college applications.
-Current college students who need assistance in essay writing
