About Sharon
Hey there! My name's Sharon, and I'm a rising senior at UCLA. I've tutored a handful of kids in English over the years, and it's been a blast helping them improve in reading and writing, not just as a tutor but a friend! I'm very flexible in lesson plans, so if you have an upcoming test or a homework assignment you need help on, we can easily incorporate that into the week's lesson. I'm excited to meet you and work with you! :)

My teaching style is a step-by-step walkthrough of different skill sets. I typically start with a diagnostic I make based on what my student expresses they struggle with, and then we're off from there! Unlike most tutors, I prioritize forming a relationship with my students so our lessons can be lighthearted and fun. Learning should be fun, and I want my tutees to WANT to come to our sessions :)
I have experience tutoring elementary, middle, and high schoolers - so all levels are welcome!
