About Tanya

As a trained geoscientist I have a love and curiosity for understanding our natural world. I’m currently taking a break from the technology sector and am keen to share my passion with students who are curious but also disciplined and driven to succeed in their chosen subjects. I have previously been a head tutor at UCT, Mastermaths tutor and private tutor to students from primary school to university in the sciences, geography and languages. If you’re as curious as I am to understand earthquakes, volcanoes and even the weather then get in touch!

About the lesson

We’ll blend classwork with additional resources (mostly digital) to help you master the basics and prepare for tests and exams. We’ll also spend time exploring use cases that build on the curriculum either online or in-person via mini field trips

Tanya has been pivotal in my mathematical journey, significantly contributing to achievements I never thought I could reach on my own. I wouldn't want to undermine my own efforts by implying it was all thanks to her.
