The easiest way to learn maths is through practice. My teaching method is that I go through an example and explain it step by step and why its done in a certain way so that they get a full understanding of the topic, then I set them a series of questions which will start off easy and increase in level of difficulty to test their understanding. Any question they get wrong I will ask what they understood by it and then go through with them so they can see where they went wrong, and I will give them another question similar to it to make sure they understand it. This will be the same approach to any questions they get right but wasn't sure of the method they use, because understanding the method is more important and effective than just getting the answer correct.
