About Olivia
I am an undergraduate Biological Sciences student who has a passion for learning and sharing my experience with those around me. From my numerous years in education, I hope to utilise the skills I have learnt to collaborate with others and share this same passion I obtain for learning. I believe with the right skillset and mindset, any student can tackle their most difficult challenge.

Lessons will target key weaknesses in the understanding of content, combining basic principles with questions and exercises to improve skills, with an emphasis on exam technique. Exercises will focus on how to break down a question to be easily addressed in an exam context, targeting the key points which mark schemes look for. Average lessons can range between 40 and 60 minutes, depending on the student. Despite a lack of professional teaching experience, I have worked informally with children to address gaps in understanding and to explain difficult concepts. Particularly due to the recent nature of my public examinations, I have constructive experience at using mark schemes to improve and maximise exam technique. I feel confident teaching Years 5-11, in both 11+ examinations and certain GCSE subjects, as well as Years 12-13 IB students in Biology and Chemistry.
