About Libby
My name is Libby Entwistle and I read Fine Art at the university of Edinburgh. Throughout school, I had to work that little bit harder than the rest due to being dyslexic. I was taught ways to overcome this and excel to the same degree or more than my peers. So I get how academics can be tough. It sometimes feels like it does not come naturally, but this does not mean you can’t strive to be the best you can be. I will be here as a presence to not only help with grades, but also to surprise yourself and show you what can be achieved when you put your mind to it.

In A Level and GCSEs it is fundamental to tick boxes in order to achieve the right grades. Within English Literature and Poetry, it is considering texts with an ‘outside the box’ approach, along with ticking these boxes that can really elevate a grade. It can also improve someone’s relationship to a subject that they are apprehensive about. My approach, whether the child has a learning difficulty or not, will be surrounding these logistics, whilst nurturing a genuine confidence when approaching the subject. English is blessed with being subjective, and when confidence is grown, a satisfaction from work can be found!
