About Sam
Hi all! I'm a chemistry student at the University of Pittsburgh with interest mainly in organic chemistry and chromatography techniques. I also work part-time at a used book and record store. In my free time, I shoot and develop film photography and watch ridiculous amounts of youtube shorts. I also collect coins (that's right, it just keeps getting nerdier...) as well as soviet antiques and old liquor bottles.

I hold hour-long zoom lessons with my trusty at-home whiteboard. With past students, I've found it's easy to get bogged down by the specifics and minutia of a question (especially in physics!), so my goal is to explain the concepts from a wide perspective and through a few different approaches. At the end of each lesson, I always do a short review of the topics covered and how they connect to each other. Lessons are personalized to student preference and geared toward high school and undergraduate students.
