About Beth
I am currently an undergraduate student studying to become a Primary school teacher, prior to starting at university I was a Teaching Assistant within a Primary school as well as an online learning tutor for children between the ages of four and eleven. I thoroughly enjoy working with children helping them to thrive within lessons where they can take this knowledge to school with them and feel proud to know what they have learnt. I am a happy, hard working student who loves to ensure that children are engaged within my tutoring lesson and thoroughly enjoy their time with me.

I like to pride myself on ensuring children come away from my lessons feeling confident with either a new subject or something they found challenging. During my lessons I aim to start the children off with a starter from the subject of the previous lesson then have 45 minutes on a subject with 10 minutes practice questions towards the end of the lessons. My lessons tend to last for one hour and I like to ensure that those lessons are engaging and allow for opportunities for children to ask me questions whereby I am able to support them to come to an answer that they feel they have worked out themselves. I teach lessons to children within primary schools and have previously worked as a tutor for a year.
