About Brooke
Hi! My name is Brooke and I'm an undergraduate student at New York University studying Media Studies and Spanish. I have been tutoring others for over two years now and would love to help you too! I've been studying and speaking Spanish and Italian since elementary school and I currently study between Spain and the U.S.! Learning a language is one of the most valuable skills a person can have nowadays. Having more than one language under your belt can be vital for meeting and interacting with others, job interviews, and experiencing another country's culture. But learning a new language comes with its challenges, and when you have learning challenges or even the right instruction, the task becomes even more difficult. Being a young person myself, I know how difficult it can be to get it right, especially when studying other subjects at the same time.
I specialize in helping students from the elementary level to the high school level overcome those challenges with fun and engaging lessons. Lessons will typically consist of activities that review the curriculum they are learning at school along with focusing on homework or projects they may be struggling with. Along with this, music and other culture will be introduced to help students see the culture of the language better.
