About Bahar
As someone who grew up in a home where the primary language was not English, I understood the value of learning another language. Being able to understand a whole other community that is not your own takes dedication, but is quite rewarding.
I am able to speak 5 languages. English, due to living and studying in the United Kingdom, Farsi as my parents are from Iran in the Middle East, Spanish and French come from me studying them in secondary school, then I took Spanish for my A-levels and I am studying both languages in my current degree. During the COVID-19 pandemic I decided to try challenge myself and learn a new skill and through watching Turkish movies and shows and after many YouTube videos on how to pronounce words, I am now self-taught in Turkish.
Ever since I was a child, I have always had a passion for Maths, especially Pure Maths, which consists of things such as BIDMAS, Algebra, Trigonometry, Binomial Expansion amongst many other things. This was a subject I studied from Primary Level through to A-level. I hope to make the student not only understand the subject but to enjoy it.

A stand-alone session would last 1 hour, 50-55 minutes being learning new things and going over material, and the last 5-10 recapping the materials learnt through a game like Kahoot, to keep the students engaged.
I have been tutoring for about 7 years now and have worked with children as young as 6 years old, through to GCSE level. I try my best to keep the lesson engaging through educational games and videos. I began working as a private tutor then began working for tuition companies like Go Student and Explore Learning, alongside studying through my A-levels and Degree.
For Spanish, I can teach from beginner level through to A-level and for Maths and French, I can teach from beginner level through to GCSE level. Depending on the subject, I use various resources to prep and execute the lessons with, such as MathsGenie, Corbettmaths, Quizlet amongst many more.
