About Anee
My flute studies began when I was 10 years old in public school where I was deeply inspired by my band directors. Eventually, I began studying with Robin Kani until I started my undergraduate degree. I currently study with Mimi Stillman at Temple University and I’ve learned many of her wonderful teaching styles as well as the methods of her mentors, Julius Baker and Jeffrey Khaner. I’m a member of my university’s orchestra and wind symphony as well as various chamber ensembles. I often perform in concerts and recitals at school and around the Philadelphia area. Additionally, I have experience playing in jazz bands, concert bands, and pit orchestras - I’m ready to help in all styles of music! Recently I was named a finalist in the Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia’s Collegiate Artist Competition. I’m new to teaching but I’m very excited to take all of my knowledge and experiences and inspire flutists to keep growing!

I started playing the flute with Ms. Anee as a complete beginner, and she has shown me nothing but kindness and support.
