About Emma
Alongside working as a barista and training as a dancer, I’ve discovered how much I enjoy helping people learn and grow. I’ve always been someone who loves breaking things down clearly and encouraging others, which is why tutoring feels like such a natural fit for me. My background as a dancer has taught me patience, discipline, and resilience, qualities I bring into every lesson. Working in a busy, people-focused environment as a barista has also strengthened my ability to communicate clearly and connect with others. I know that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming or even intimidating, but I believe with the right guidance and encouragement, anyone can make progress. I’m approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping my students build both their skills and their confidence.

My lessons are completely tailored to each student. I like to start by finding out what you’re confident with and where you’d like extra support. From there, together we will break tricky topics into manageable steps, using clear explanations, practice activities, and plenty of encouragement. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s where the real learning happens! Whether you’re preparing for exams, working on homework, or just want to boost your confidence, I’ll adapt the lessons to your goals.
