About Justine
As an undergraduate student with AP Calculus BC experience, I have a strong foundation in algebra and calculus. I understand that math can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am patient, dependable, and committed to helping students understand the material rather than simply memorizing formulas. My goal is to help students become more confident and independent in their math skills.

My approach is to make math easier to understand by breaking problems down into clear, step-by-step explanations. I first ask students what they are struggling with and then work through examples with them. I encourage students to try problems on their own while providing guidance when needed, rather than simply giving them the answer.
A typical session would begin by reviewing the student's current classwork or a topic they find difficult. We would then go through the concepts together, work through practice problems, and finish with the student solving similar problems independently. I can adjust the pace and explanation depending on the student's needs and learning style.
As an undergraduate student with AP Calculus BC experience, I understand what it is like to learn these subjects as a student. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions and build confidence in their math skills. I offer tutoring for middle and high school students in algebra and high school students in calculus
