About Deena
I am a motivated Psychology graduate majoring in Child and Family studies. Through this course I have learned important theories underpinning child and family development which allows me to use suitable communication and problem-solving skills in professionally dealing with children within the community. I believe that students can improve with a patient, encouraging and persistent teacher, therefore, I will do my best to form appropriate learning modules that caters to student's needs. I have experience in tutoring youths and holding debates including discussions with my peers. Being an undergraduate student that majored in Psychology also means that I am well-versed in using English language for academic research papers and articles as part of my course requirements.

Flexible in online teaching approaches, able to provide explanation, display helpful presentation slides and conduct tests in the form of speaking, writing and reading exercises to allow students to gain a better understanding of English vocabulary and grammar. I would also encourage students to hold discussions in English or use age appropriate, short English videos to stimulate their attention and then, task them to summarize what they have watched, verbally and in written. I believe that these methods are one of the best ways to learn English naturally.
