About Sophie
My name is Sophie and I recently graduated Ba Product and Industrial Design with a first class honours, from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
Prior to this, I studied at Stratford Girls Grammar School, where I achieved high grades at both GCSEs and A-levels, after passing the 11 plus.

I provide online and in person 11 plus prep, as well as Maths and English tuition up to GCSE level. My teaching techniques include clear and comprehensive explanations of subject matter, talking through examples, and guiding the student through practise questions until they are able to try them out independently. I believe strongly that practice makes perfect, and that the key to passing any test is to employ a cycle of 'practise, analyse, practice, analyse' - making sure the student can understand and learn from previous mistakes before trying the test again.
I work with patience and empathy, making sure that students feel supported and reassured at all points during the lesson. As a person with ADHD, I can easily tailor lessons to suit those with neurodivergences, with sensitivity and insight - to ensure that all students can achieve their individual goals.
