About Charlotte
I have an MA Psychology (hons) from the University of St Andrews and an MSc Early Intervention In Psychosis from Kings College London. I have experience teaching children English as a foreign language abroad in Sri Lanka as well as tutoring psychology privately. My main areas of interest are psychosis/mental health/bipolar disorder and I have worked on placement at an inpatient mental health facility, and I currently work as a research psychologist in Oxford. I also studied philosophy at university during my first Two years and have an A at Scottish SQA higher in the subject, my main area of interest within philosophy is ethics.

My teaching method depends on the qualification level that the student is preparing for but I use a mixture of visual aids and textbook work to discuss the topics and explain them. I encourage my students to develop independent thought and discuss their ideas with me.

I volunteered with Charlotte teaching English to children in Sri Lanka in July/August 2017. Charlotte taught in a confident and creative manner and got on well with all the children.
