About Helen
As a student in a large sixth form my learning was very generic and book based.
It was not until a close friend joined the cohort late and it was my job to get them up to speed that I discovered I really enjoyed law, and that my lessons did not reflect how I learned.
I am always looking to give back, and I would enjoy passing on my love for the subject to others who do not feel they learn best in a classroom setting.

As a student, I remember how fast paced lessons were, and how much knowledge had to be absorbed, sometimes without fully digesting the context. .
As a tutor it is my goal to identify an individual students learning methods, whether it be visual, repetition, hands on or via audio and adapt the content around you.
Whether it be a specific area of the syllabus where assistance is required, or wider elements of the course I am happy to assist.
You can expect:
1. A personal approach. I will endeavour to adapt to your style of learning
2. A paced approach, some things take longer to absorb than others. No rushing through topics like a classroom. You can set the pace.
3. A safe space to ask questions, and to develop legal skills.
