About Shannon
I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2018, a time when I wrote the best essays my professors had seen. Since graduating university, I have continued to study the craft of writing and have written professionally, including winning an award for my original audio play. In 2025, I received my TESL Canada Standard 1 certification, which certifies me to teach English as a Second Language. I balance grammar and language teaching with essay structure and persuasive arguments to help high school students, particularly those for whom English is not their first language, to write their best and improve their communication skills.
