About Tala

I’m a Senior Lecturer in Design with experience teaching university students from over 30 nationalities. I hold an MBA and an MA in Sustainable Design, and I bring both creative and strategic thinking into my lessons. My students describe me as patient, encouraging, and clear in my explanations. Whether you’re preparing for university, building a portfolio, or improving your creative confidence, I’ll guide you step-by-step with practical methods and real examples. My goal is to help you understand, not just memorise, and to enjoy the process along the way.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centred, practical, and built around curiosity. I believe everyone learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals and pace. Whether we’re working on design principles, creative strategy, or academic writing, I focus on building confidence through conversation, reflection, and real-world examples. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, combining discussion, short exercises, and guided feedback. I encourage active learning — my sessions are interactive and collaborative rather than lecture-based. I am a Senior Lecturer in London, teaching BA-level design and creative business students, and I hold both an MA in Sustainable Design and an MBA. My background blends creativity and strategy, so I help students connect ideas to practical outcomes, whether they’re preparing portfolios, learning Adobe software, exploring design thinking, or developing research projects. My lessons are ideal for undergraduates, college students, professionals, or anyone looking to improve their creative or strategic skills in an encouraging environment.
