About Darren
I am studying a music degree at the university of Liverpool and have been playing guitar for the last 10 years. I have played in large venues with capacities up to 2000 people, events, regular live gigs and shows as well as studio work. I have played on songs for different artists on Spotify including bands called SUPERNAL, ad LIFE worship.

My teaching method is structured but flexible. Ill always start with finger warm ups for the first 10 mins - a bit of theory then comes next to set you up so you have an understanding of the why behind what you’re playing. I then show you how to apply the theory practically and give you some examples, riffs and songs that we can work through for the remainder of the session and that you can practice. I’m always open to slowing down and repeating session if you’d come back and ask for more time or help on whatever we worked on previously so don’t be afraid to be vocal about what you want out of the lessons.
