About Seun
About Me
Hi! My name is Seun, and I’m a university mathematics lecturer and final-year PhD researcher. I’ve spent several years teaching and supporting students at college level, particularly in mathematics and quantitative subjects.

My Approach to Tutoring
My tutoring approach is structured, patient, and results-focused, with a strong emphasis on helping students understand the material rather than memorize formulas.
I begin each lesson by identifying the student’s course requirements, current challenges, and upcoming assessments. From there, I break complex mathematical ideas into clear, logical steps, using practical examples and visual explanations where helpful. I place strong emphasis on problem-solving techniques, exam strategy, and building confidence through guided practice.
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and background, ensuring sessions are interactive and focused on the topics that matter most for their course.
Lesson Length
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover concepts in depth and practice questions. Longer sessions (90–120 minutes) are also available when tackling intensive topics.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a university mathematics lecturer and a final-year PhD researcher, with several semesters of experience teaching and assessing undergraduate mathematics, engineering mathematics, and quantitative methods. I have independently delivered modules, prepared teaching materials, and graded assessments at university level.
