About Douglas
I'm a passionate learner and teacher. I'm sensitive to student dispositions and understand that finding an approach that works for you is going to be a critical part of your learning.
I will always ask your opinion on the lesson provided, what you'd like to see more or less of, and what you'd like to see included. I'll be monitoring your upcoming assessments to help you prepare for them, and looking at past assessments to establish what baseline we're working from.
In person I'm kind, approachable and softly-spoken. I believe in providing the best service to you I can possibly give, and will always endeavor to make you feel comfortable; whether that be assuming the role of teacher or just a study buddy.

I take an individualized approach to lesson planning. I find what works best for you, and am very responsive to feedback. A lesson will last for minimum one hour, maximum two hours, and can include content revision, assessment planning, practice and study strategies.
I've tutored for approximately 8 months to date, and have experience tutoring VCE Level English.
