About Nikita
I am a freelance writer and blogger, and an avid reader. I've been hooked on words since I was in primary school, and I'm looking to foster and inspire that passion in others. I was offered a place at Keble College, Oxford in 2014, having acheived an A* in my A-Level English. I was awarded a 2:1 in English Language and Literature in 2018.

My teaching methodology is based on the Oxford tutorial system - I take a conversational approach to teaching, helping to encourage interest in the subject. I believe that inspiration is the best and most powerful method of helping young people succeed at the examinations that face them. I base my lessons around the interests of the individual student - that may involve exploring an indivdual work over several sessions or one text per session, either something that the student wants to explore themselves or something they are studying in school.
With regards to Oxbridge preparation, I offer exercises in close-reading/ practical criticism, preparation for writing personal statements, essay submissions, and the ELAT, as well as mock interviews.
