About Honor
Hi! My name is Honor, I am a second-year French literature student at the University of Oxford, who would love to help you out with your language skills! I grew up in the North of England, but am now based in the south, and conduct my tutor sessions online to maintain flexibility for all. I am really interested in all things drama, playwriting, language, and literature, and can really tailor classes to your own interests, as well as focusing on getting you the best grades possible. Having myself attained the highest grades in both GCSE and A-levels, I know the ins and outs of mark schemes, how to most efficiently revise, and have a library of notes to impart on future students.

As a university student, I have recently been through GCSEs and A-levels, so I know exactly what it was like, and therefore the best ways to achieve the highest grades. Lessons with me will include interactive and supportive discussions about essay technique, clear breakdowns in themes, techniques and structures, as well as grammar and vocabulary for those wishing to develop their language skills. Depending on your preferences, lessons can be tailored more towards grammar and theory, or literature and creativity. I teach French and English literature anywhere from the beginning of secondary school, all the way up to A-levels, and have three years' experience teaching children and helping with applications. Lessons will typically last 1 hour, but this is flexible and can be personalised.
