About Phurba
Hello, I’m Phurba, a university Physics lecturer with experience teaching Engineering Physics to undergraduate students. I am passionate about making Physics understandable, structured, and engaging, especially when students find mathematical concepts or problem-solving challenging.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I explain concepts step by step, encourage questions, and use practical examples to connect theory with real-world engineering applications. I believe every student can improve in Physics with the right explanation, practice, and guidance.
Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an examination, solving challenging problems, or strengthening your Physics fundamentals, I will adapt my lessons to your level and learning goals. My aim is not simply to help you find the answer, but to help you understand how and why the answer is obtained.

I teach Physics by making difficult concepts clear, practical, and easy to understand. My approach focuses on understanding the ideas behind formulas rather than memorizing them. I use step-by-step explanations, worked examples, diagrams, questioning, and problem-solving activities to help students build confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous concepts, followed by an explanation of the new topic using simple examples. We then work through problems together, identify common mistakes, and finish with practice questions to check understanding.
What sets me apart is my experience teaching Engineering Physics at university level. I can connect fundamental Physics concepts with real engineering applications and adapt lessons to the student's learning pace and goals.
My lessons are suitable for university and undergraduate students, engineering students, and senior secondary students studying Physics. I can support students with Mechanics, Waves, Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, numerical problem-solving, assignments, and examination preparation.
