About Scott
I love math, and I love helping people not to hate it! I've been a math professor at Troy University for the past 5 years, while tutoring on the side. I have a B.S. in Math and an M.S. in Operations Research with a lot of graduate work in statistics and mathematical modeling. I have worked as a mathematician and/or software engineer for almost 20 years. Not too long ago, I decided to help others in their mathematical quests. From high school through college, I enjoy finding just the right method for each student to grasp math concepts that they may have struggled with in the past. Math doesn't have to be boring! Let's see how I can help you - if not to love math, then at least not to hate it.

I am math professor at Troy University, and a professional tutor on the side. I like to be creative with math - from color-coding parts of an equation to using movie clips to remember concepts. When possible, I like to create a step by step process to aid students in finding solutions. From high school through college, I can help you get your grade up, get ready for exams, or prep for standardized tests.
