About Heidi
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic university student who enjoys helping others learn and build confidence. I have experience supporting students through tutoring, including helping students who had recently moved to the country and had little or no English. I have also supported younger students through my roles in school leadership. These experiences have taught me to adapt my communication, explain things clearly and encourage others positively. I am reliable, approachable and committed to helping every student make progress while making learning enjoyable and suited to their individual needs.

As a tutor, I would aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and develop their skills. I would adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs, making lessons engaging, clear and accessible. I would work hard to build positive relationships with students and encourage them to reach their full potential. To gain as many tutoring responsibilities as possible, I would be proactive in taking on additional sessions, supporting different age groups and subjects, and volunteering for extra responsibilities. I would also seek feedback to continually improve my teaching and demonstrate that I am reliable and committed.
