About Amaya
My name is Amaya and I am currently studying physiotherapy at university. I aim to deliver high-quality sessions to students so that they can achieve their best and have a bright future ahead of them. I am a friendly, patient tutor aiming to build confidence in students and work towards their goals. I really enjoyed studying Psychology at A levels and particularly liked learning topics such as attachment.

I aim to break down difficult exam questions for students highlighting the important aspects of the question. I will give advice to students on how to answer exam questions and what examiners are looking for. My lessons are aimed at students who are currently studying A level Psychology (y12s and y13s) and need some guidance. A typical lesson will last 1 hour but I can adapt this depending on the students' needs. I recently completed my A levels achieving a B in A level Psychology so I have a strong understanding and knowledge of Psychology. I also have experience in tutoring students who undertook their 11+ exams face to face marking their work and breaking down tricky questions for them. Also, I will focus on active recall such as quizzes as Psychology can be very content heavy!
