My teaching method is to let the students take the reins with learning, letting them lead me to find the areas in which they need to put in the most work, and then creating lesson plans and teaching styles around the students. For example, if a student worked best from memorising lists or graphs on paper, I wouldn't lecture them for hours and expect them to retain all the information through audible means. Instead I would create lists or graphs, let the student go away and learn the information in a way that worked for them, and then quiz them on the work, allowing them to lead their own learning, and allowing myself to work out what they were struggling with.
