The problem with finding the correct tutor is that many are out of touch with the current specification or find it difficult to relate to students due to an age gap. This is where everything changes. Having just completed A-levels and doing GCSE maths and further maths in years 10 and 11 respectively, i can guarantee you the above two issues won't play a factor in my teaching. My message to you is simple: achieving the top grades is a priority and that is exactly what I intend for you to do.
The important thing to consider is that someone with a masters in mathematics at Oxford may not necessarily be the best choice as a tutor. This is because being the best learner doesn't mean your the best teacher and it is for that reason I became a tutor. I have achieved an A* in both maths GCSE (taken in year 10) and further maths GCSE as well achieving the maximum A-grade in AS level. Having only just completed my A-levels, this will mean that these exams are still in my memory and so, helping you attain top grades will be something I thrive to do.
