I teach based on where the student wants to learn from. Thus, I always try to adapt my learning style based on the student, whether they like learning through past questions or from making notes themselves. I would set work based on their school work or if they do not understand their school content, explain and go through that in a lesson. I am able to teach up to GCSE.

My methodology is to break the topic into small manageable chunks to make it more accessible to the students. I love teaching A-level maths and it is my biggest satisfaction to see my students understand the different topics in Maths and develop the love for the subject.
I base my lessons on thoroughly written documents. For instance I first start by assessing the student's capability and then personalise lessons according to the individual needs. alternatively if the student is exceptional I usually push him to his farthest extent, by providing more challenging questions from not only gcse but also additional maths.
My teaching method is simple. It starts with the building of key principles and knowledge of the basics, moving on to worked examples of questions of varying difficulty. After the aforementioned is mastered, then timed exam style questions with be practised.
My approach to teaching is simple and straightforward. I draw up a plan to focus on areas of weakness, draw up a plan and make each lesson count. I am able to create a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere during my lessons which helps the overall effectiveness.
I think especially in maths the base has to be very strong. So First I focus on the basics and then we can carry on from there. I use day to day practica examples to explain the concepts of maths and science.

Easy to read revision material to understand methodologies off by heart. Identify areas that need most attention to. Looking at past exam papers, seeing the questions (identifying a pattern).

The problem with finding the correct tutor is that many are out of touch with the current specification or find it difficult to relate to students due to an age gap. This is where everything changes. Having just completed A-levels and doing GCSE maths and further maths in years 10 and 11 respectively, i can guarantee you the above two issues won't play a factor in my teaching.
