About Christy
-- I am a dedicated dietetics student at the University of Kentucky with a 3.93 GPA.
-- I have been playing flute for 11 years. I took private lessons for 7 years, played in a flute orchestra for 5 years, won third in two local flute competitions, and played many solos and duets on stage.
-- I started giving flute lessons fall of 2018 and have one beginning student who is very successful.
-- I have over 4 years of experience teaching students of all ages various subjects including flute, math, reading, nutrition, cooking, jewelry making, and sports.
-- I have experience with ESL students and students with ADHD.

-- Your success as a student is dependent on how much you practice on your own. I recommend a minimum of 15 minutes of practice every day for beginning students.
