My tutoring style is very based on the student - I believe no two students need exactly the same lesson, and I make an effort to adapt to each person I tutor in this respect.
I’m a university student at the University of Birmingham, and have been tutoring for over three years. I got As and A*s in English at GCSE and A level, and am getting good grades at university.
River has been working with me since she was 17, teaching on chamber music and music theory courses. She is very well taught herself, and this comes through in her delivery of both one-to-one and small group lessons. She is a natural musician, able to convey her enthusiasm for music and is experienced at teaching all ages from 5-adult. I recommend her unreservedly.
River’s been teaching me to play violin for a couple of months now and she’s been very good at it. Everything is explained clearly and at a pace that suits me and with a great deal of patience and enthusiasm for the instrument. Until I’d started learning with her, I had no idea I even wanted to learn the instrument, and she’s inspired me to continue with it.
