About Martha
I am a music student at the University of York and have a B in A-Level Mathematics, an 8 in GCSE Mathematics and a 7 in GCSE Further Mathematics. I offer 30 - 60 minute lessons. I particularly enjoy tutoring young persons and have experience leading musical workshops in primary schools as well as teaching the violin and piano. I am highly professional and fun to work with.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s age, level, and goals. For younger beginners, I use stickers, a lesson diary, and practice exercises to keep learning engaging, positive, and fun.
For more advanced students, I place greater emphasis on understanding methods by using practice questions and past papers. I support students’ aspirations by setting clear goals, highlighting topics that need more development, and helping them progress with confidence.
